What time can I arrive?

The check-in time is at 4pm. However, you can arrive at any time you wish, a luggage room is at your disposal while waiting for your room to be ready.

Does the hotel have smoking rooms?

All rooms are non-smoking. Smoking is not permitted in any public area of the hotel, in accordance with national regulations.

Do you have rooms with separate beds?

All our rooms and suites have double beds that can be separated (except for the Refuge Suites). Please specify this when making your reservation at reservation@prieurechamonix.com

Do the rooms have safes?

Yes, our rooms have a safe.

Is it possible to add a baby bed in the rooms?

It is possible to add a baby bed in all our rooms and suites. This service is offered. Thank you for specifying it when you make your reservation at the address: reservation@prieurechamonix.com.

Do the rooms have special views?

Yes, our double rooms and suites offer a view of the Mont-Blanc, in the bottom of the valley. Please note that our triple rooms are on the street side and offer a view of the Aiguilles de Chamonix.

What facilities are available in the rooms?

Safe, free glass water bottle, Nespresso machine, double glazing, free wifi, flat screen TV, bathrobes and slippers in the suites, welcome products in the bathroom, hairdryer, separate toilet or not, large closet.

At what time can I check in?

Check in time is 4pm. However, you can arrive at any time you wish but we cannot guarantee immediate access to your room. A luggage room is at your disposal until it is ready.

What time do I have to vacate the room?

The room must be vacated by 11:00 am at the latest. We have a luggage room if you wish to store your belongings during the day.

Do you offer early check in or late check out?

Yes, only on request at the time of booking at reservation@prieurechamonix.com and according to our availability, and with an extra charge, you can occupy your room after 11am or have a guarantee to access your room before 4pm.

Can I arrive late at night?

Yes, the reception is open 24 hours.

What credit cards do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Maestro.

What is your cancellation policy?

When making your reservation, please read the terms and conditions carefully. The policy may vary depending on the rate booked and the site you book on.

Where can I find the best prices?

You will find the best offers, 10% cheaper than on online sales sites, on the official website of the Chalet Hôtel le Prieuré by booking directly here.

Do you accept pets?

Yes, we accept pets in our rooms and suites. You must specify this when making your reservation at reservation@prieurechamonix.com and you will be charged €15 per night per pet.

When do I pay for my stay?

When making your reservation, please read carefully the general terms and conditions of sale. The payment may vary depending on the rate booked and the website on which you book.

Is there a tourist tax?

Yes, you will have to pay the tourist tax of 1.50 € per person over 18 years old and per night to the hotel.

What is the hotel's policy for children?

Children are considered adults and must occupy the available bedding. No extra beds are available. Breakfast and dinner are at special rates for children 3 to 12 years old.

Does the hotel have internet access?

Yes, the hotel has Wifi and high speed internet in the common areas and in the rooms. This service is free of charge.

What time is breakfast served?

Breakfast is served from 6:30 am to 10:30 am every day of the week in the hotel's restaurant, Le Rôtissier.

Is it possible to have specific products for breakfast or dinner?

Yes, if you mention it when you make your reservation. We can then adapt to your allergies and intolerances (gluten-free for example).

Is it possible to have the meal or drinks served in the room?

No, we do not offer room service (neither for drinks nor for meals).

Is the hotel accessible to people with reduced mobility?

Yes, the hotel is adapted to people with reduced mobility. We have 3 PMR rooms. Thank you for specifying this when making your reservation at: reservation@prieurechamonix.com.

Does the hotel have air conditioning?

No, the hotel does not have air conditioning in the common areas or in the rooms.

Does the hotel have a luggage room?

Yes, the hotel provides free storage for your luggage during the day.

Does the hotel have a restaurant?

Yes, the hotel has the Restaurant Le Rôtissier, open only in the evening.

The bar offers snacking, gourmet food and beverage service throughout the day.

Is it possible to have flowers or chocolates in the room?

Yes, it is quite possible to have what you wish in your room at your arrival. Please specify this when you make your reservation at reservation@prieurechamonix.com.

Does the hotel have a fitness room?

No, the hotel does not yet have a fitness room. To come in July 2023.

Does the hotel have a spa?

No, the hotel does not yet have a spa. To come in July 2023.

What activities can we do around the hotel?

In summer, you can rent mountain bikes, enjoy an excursion to the Mer de Glace, go hiking on the surrounding peaks, go paragliding over the valley, go cliff climbing...

In winter, you can enjoy the exceptional ski areas of Chamonix and Les Houches or ski down the mythical Vallée Blanche from the top of the Aiguille du Midi in Chamonix Mont-Blanc.

Our reservation service can organize, book and prepare everything with our local partner, so that you only have to enjoy!

Can I offer an overnight stay at the Chalet Hotel on Prieuré ?

Yes, you can offer an overnight stay in half board for example or a romantic package. You can choose and buy your package online on the website.
Or you can create your own custom-made package according to your wishes at reservation@prieurechamonix.com.

Does the hotel have a parking lot?

Yes, the hotel has an underground parking of 25 places. ATTENTION, maximum height of 1.80m for the garage. This parking is not free: 20 € from December to March and 15 € the rest of the year. The parking is not reservable and the number of spaces is limited. Several public paying parking lots are available nearby.

Does the hotel offer a shuttle service from Geneva?

Yes, the hotel can organize your transfer by private shuttle from the airport or the train station of Geneva with our partners, on request when booking at reservation@prieurechamonix.com.

How do I get to the hotel?

here are several ways to get to Chamonix from Geneva Airport: Private cab, companies such as Mountain Drop Offs (promo code: PRIECHX), Ouibus, Flixbus, Alpybus, Show Train or Easybus.

Stations : Chamonix 5 min walk from the bus and SNCF station ; Saint-Gervais les bains Le Fayet 20 min ; Annecy 1h00 ; Bellegarde 1h30 (for information - transfer by car).

Airports : Geneva 1h00 ; Lyon 2h00 (for information - transfer by car).
